The Sheffield United Relegation Thread
I don't know if I'm too early for this? They look pretty awful, and clubs have 'found them out'.

MO,
You could be right: no relegation, just promote 6 teams from each division.

Re: The Sheffield United Relegation Thread
Absolute fucking vile club. Putrid in every way. Disgusting, jumped up supporters. Hope they keep dropping out of existence. And hope Wednesday rise again. Just to rub salt in the United wounds.

Fuck off and die Sheffield United.

Re: The Sheffield United Relegation Thread
Given the rage sparked by this ESL, talk of their demise may be a little premature.

Re: The Sheffield United Relegation Thread
You can bet your arse that they are going through the Lingard loan deal letter-by-letter (as will many others, still pissed off that they never got wind of the Argies coming to little ol' West Ham before it actually happened).

I don't think luck played that big a part in the imposition of our punishment - the very knowledgeable football authorities had already decided that we were relegated so the fine was punishment "on top" of this (points deduction, in their minds wouldn't have any/the desired impact).

They lost face because we then took it upon ourselves to up our game to such a level that a draw on the last day was all we needed to stay up.

We never needed to win that match, but we did, and the goalscorer ensured that he and his contribution would be the media-driven focal point from then on.

Re: The Sheffield United Relegation Thread
I've enjoyed their pluckiness over the past two seasons. I hold no ill will for the past. We blatantly broke the rules with Tevez and were lucky not to get a points deduction and relegated. That would have cost a lot more than 40 million.

I meant before he went to Sheff U
Lundstram was linked recently as think he is out of contract at the end of the season and won’t sign a new one

Re: The Sheffield United Relegation Thread
I thought Lundstram was the one we were looking at

Re: The Sheffield United Relegation Thread
Sander Berge who we looked at (currently out with a hamstring) is their best player in a sub-Soucek sort of way.
Ramsdale looked promising at Bournemouth but has been mediocre
Unfortunately for them they spent £40m on his and Brewster
